Face of terror-Mumbai under siege

21 year old Azam Amir Kasav walking around with a gun at CST station was one of the earliest images of the Mumbai terror attack. The picture was clicked by Sebastian D’souza, one of the Mumbai mirror reporters who had rushed to CST to get the details when he saw one of the two terrorists walking around at CST, spraying bullets at the people.

Ironically Azam Amir Kasav is also the most infamous with his pictures plastered across the web and the newspapers in relation with the Mumbai attacks as the face of terror. He holds the dubious distinction of being the only terrorist captured alive after the stand off. He has reportedly spilled the beans on the details and planning of the attack but more information is awaited. What’s interesting and unbelievable is that he now wants to be alive as reported in the Mumbai Mirror.

There are some images that are burnt into your consciousness long after the related events. This is definitely one of them.

Let’s hope we get all the evidence this time to build the most effective case against terrorism. Enough is enough.

You are right. this guy looks like one of the many youngsters you would see at a mall or even at a coffee shop. Difficult to imagine what would motivate a 21 year old educated guy to do this.

Years of brainwashing!
And perhaps money

It is sad (and shocking) that these 21 year olds could hold our elite NSGs at bay for 4 days!!!!

But prayers to all those brave soldiers who gave up their lives to protect the country from these mindless animals!

yeah, sure,he wants to be alive...to rake more havoc in this world. He should be made to repent every minute of his life for what did to hundreds of thousands of families of the people he killed. But thats only when he would have some conscience left in him.

I hope they don't kill him or let him die...
He should be tortured bit by bit for the rest of his life...nothing less would be enough...

So sad naa a 21 year old guy (he looks so baby kinds) has created so much of havoc in the nation. I read an article in Times of India called 'making of a fidayeen'...the story suggests that he was time and again shown the video clippings of godhra riots and babri masjid which enraged him and the rest is history.

As layman says: money+brainwashing gives rise to such amir afzal kasav. There may be several such youths roaming in our society.
